Aero Sentinel and Rafael Advance Integrated Sensor-to-Shooter Capability

Joint integration and field evaluations connect tactical ISR UAS with advanced precision engagement systems in a unified operational architecture.

Aero Sentinel today announced a significant milestone in its strategic technological cooperation with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, one of Israel’s leading global defense technology companies. The cooperation focuses on integrating Aero Sentinel’s tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) unmanned aerial systems with Rafael’s advanced precision engagement capabilities.

The milestone follows an extensive program of system development, technological integration and field evaluations conducted in Israel and internationally. The activities assessed the interoperability of the companies’ complementary technologies and their ability to operate as a unified and reliable system-of-systems.

The integrated architecture connects Aero Sentinel’s tactical ISR UAS with RAFAEL’s SPIKE precision-guided missile system, supporting a continuous operational process from aerial detection and intelligence collection to target data transfer and precision engagement.

During the latest field evaluation, the integrated architecture supported a complete Sensor-to-Shooter cycle-from aerial detection and intelligence collection to real-time data transfer, operational decision-making and precision engagement support.

By connecting persistent tactical ISR with advanced engagement capabilities, the solution is designed to shorten the time between target detection and action while improving situational awareness and coordination across the operational chain.

The evaluation demonstrated how intelligence collected by Aero Sentinel’s tactical UAS can be rapidly converted into actionable targeting information and transferred within a continuous operational process. This enables users to move beyond separately operated sensing and engagement components toward an integrated mission capability.

“This cooperation marks an important step in Aero Sentinel’s technological and operational evolution,” said Ofir Avram, CMO of Aero Sentinel.

“Together with Rafael, we are connecting the distinctive capabilities of our tactical UAS-including extended endurance, a low acoustic signature and significant operational range – with advanced precision engagement technologies.”

The latest milestone builds on a series of joint integration activities and field evaluations conducted in Israel and abroad. It establishes a technological and operational foundation for further evaluations, continued development and potential future joint activities.

Aero Sentinel looks forward to expanding its cooperation with Rafael and further advancing integrated capabilities that connect tactical intelligence with precise operational effects.
